Christmas Gifts

clic on pic to enlarge
WOWZA!!! My Christmas gifts for my family came out GORGEOUS!!!  LOL!! I forget how much FUN vinyl can be. I already had the 6x6 tiles (previous bathroom redo) and I got all the designs from the silhouette store (Christmas star, Nativity Wise men and Wise men still seek him). I thought it looked better with a frame so I made a 5.5" outer square and then a 5.04" inner square. The camel is 1.25w x 1.29h, 1st wise man(near camel) is .67w x 1.15h, 2nd wise man is  .56w x 1.07h and 3rd wise man is .53w x .74h. The star is 1.01w x 1.60h and the words are 4.20w x 1.03h.  I welded the star and nativity men to the inner square. I thought it would be a lot easier to apply this way and it was...LOL.... Just look at the details on the wise men and camel....I'm IMPRESSED!!!! Now all I have to do is go find some picture stands and get these ready to mail next week. I made 12 of these and can't wait for my families response......

Cricut cartridge organization

clic on pics to enlarge
YAHOO!!! Found it!!! I've seen this on youtube videos and on some blogs....they said they found them at Big Lots but I couldn't find them. Anyway today I was shopping online at Kmart and LOOK! what I found!!!!! PERFECT STORAGE!!!!!! and it was available for same day pick up. So within 2 hours picked it up and came home and within an hour I had it put together. I went to work and when I came home I alphabetically put all my cricut carts in it.  PRETTY HUH??? Its PERFECT!! OOPPSS NOT!!!!
It says it'll hold 144 DVD's  so I divided that by 2 and got 72 OK I have 56 carts thats perfect.....aaarrrgghh NEXT TIME divide by 3 and allow some room....it only holds 56 carts!!! I miss counted my carts I have 57...ROTFLOL!!! I'm not about to break it all down and take it back. I'll see if one of my boys wants it in the future...LOL....its OK for now....I don't plan on buying anymore carts for now and I'll just lay the one on top. It sure is nice though, I love how it spins and all my carts are alphabetically organized.
If anyone is interested its the Typhoon Multimedia storage tower Model # 82635716, Kmart item # 018W01115364001. its really nice and sturdy and not that hard to put together. IT ONLY HOLDS 56 CRICUT CARTRIDGES
(remember..I moved my craftroom AGAIN...I dont have a door, so I lost the behind the door storage shelves)

My Blog is UP and running AGAIN!!!

YAAAHOOOOOO!!!! I figured it out!!! I can post pics again!!!! I'm in the process of shrinking down ALL 660 photos ROTFLOL!!!  I was up till 2am figuring it out, but I FINALLY figured out how to shrink my photos. I resized/replaced 8 photos and I noticed I could post some new pics...YIPPIE!!!!
My old photos were 4000  or 2.66MB so I shrunk them down to 500 or 35.2KB and I don't know what ALL that means  except I can post pics again.  I thought I would have to shrink/replace them all before posting again but I only need to do a few at a time to clear up space to post.
So THANK YOU for STANDING BY while I figured this out and Luckily I didn't keep you standing to long.....LOL.
I have A LOT of errands and projects to do today so I'll post my new projects later.....

Stickles/Liquid Pearls storage

clic on pics to enlarge
OK, I'm still in the process of setting up my craftroom...but this time I'm organizing as I go along. In the past I've just set it up and will get to sorting/organizing later....well, later never comes. Yes, its a bad time to do this with the holidays sooo close....but I'm sticking to my plans!!!
Here's how I'm storing my stickles/liquid pearls (liquid pearls is my newest ADDICTION!!! I LOVE LIQUID PEARLS!!)
I searched a lot of youtube channels and checked out some other sites on how to store my little bottles but I like my cheap idea better it cost me $0. I already have these file folders from when I used to store my cardstock in a filing cabinet. Here's how I made my own storage: I took a folder and cut across the width at 2" (do this 3 times) then cut that strip and cut lengths at 3.75" (you get 3) then on one end of each of those strips I scored a 3/8" tab and slightly curled it using my fingers and applied glue on the tab then brought the opposite end and aliened it on the score mark and held it with a clothespin till dry. I made 9 holders and glued 3 together then glued the 3 stacks together (when gluing the stacks together I just put glue on the 1st and 3rd holder, not the middle -to allow for wiggle room). When dry I slightly squeezed them into the dividers of the jetmax cubes and added my stickles and liquid pearls. COOL IDEA HUH??? now when I take one out they don't all fall over....you don't have to put them in the dividers..they'll stay where ever you put them.

3/8" tab (I marked it so you could see it)

squeeze into the dividers and add your stickles/liquid pearls

notice on the right side my stickles are done and upside down, this is for my liquid pearls on the left that I will also store upside down. PRETTY STORAGE/ORGANIZATION!!!

50 bottles of BOOS ....

clic on pics to enlarge
ROTFLOL!!...........50 bottles of booze on the wall 50 bottles of booze, you take one down and pass it around, 49 bottles of booze on the wall.......HA HA HA!!! remember that song?? OK don't answer that...LOL
GEEZ!!! This was very time consuming...but I LOVE the outcome!! and my co-workers will really love it!! This is what I'm taking into work next week. I got the idea off of pinterest..well sort of.. they used a glass bottle and put lights in it..LOL!! I'm sure you all of seen it. Anyway they had these bottles in the silhouette store (which are on SALE) and I got to work.....for the last 2 weeks! aarrgh...but they are OFFICIALLY DONE!!!! whew.....!!!
Everything was found and cut with the silhouette...I cut the bottle at 3.41"w x 4.83"h ( I cut the lid slightly larger cuz it was a little to snug) and the ghosts are from the Halloween charms - I just cut the loop off.  The ghost charm was cut at 1.50"h x .99"w and the lil ghosts cut at 1.07"h x .83"w ( I used a black marker to dot the eyes) and the label is cut at 1.36"h x 1.61"w and I used Storybook font. Then wrapped some twine and its DONE!!! I know they're kind of big I made a small one but it was really hard making sure it was really all glued together cuz I'm going to put some M & M's in them and I didn't want it coming apart.LOL

and here's the other 49 bottles of boos....ROTFLOL!!!

OK I've got to get to work on my Halloween cards...Where has the time gone?? Oh yeah!! I was busy with the boos........HA HA HA!!

clic on pic to enlarge
I've been super busy working on my treats to take into work next week. I needed to take a break and make some earrings. The Silhouette store has halloween designs on sale so I noticed the halloween charms ...hhhmmmm...those look like earrings...ROTFLOL!!!!
I cut the spider at 1.18"h x 1.08"w and the pumpkins at 1.54"h x 1.01"w and the ghosts at 1.44"h x 1.02"w (eyes .70"h x .75"w blk circles).  I added a thin layer of modge podge to make them more durable...it is only paper after all.....LOL!!! Remember I cut 4 designs, my earrings have a front and back!!

OK! enough playing...back to working on those treats for work....wait till you see what I'm making!!! My co-workers are gonna LOVE IT!!!!

Organizing AGAIN!!!

clic on pic to enlarge
I wish I could craft MORE...but I LOVE organizing MORE!!! ROTFLOL!!
I've seen a lot of  "Clip it up's"  in use and saw this video and I was sold!!!

 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBcLGXbwwzA

I went to my Wal-Mart and got this

I went to the garden dept to get the plastic dish and NOTHING!!! argh....
think think...think...OH! This will work

then went to Michaels and got 4 pkgs of these

Went home and started my plan in action. The pie tins are PERFECT size. I cut a 1-3/8" hole in the center and covered the sharp edges with painters tape

FOLLOWED the DIRECTIONS to assemble the shoe tree (super easy). I LOVE that every layer
is ADJUSTABLE!!

Found a perfect spot in my craftroom for it

Added my ribbon- theres about 20 bobbins per layer and its about 1/2 full

close up view- I took a pair of needle nose pliers and gripped the bottom of the "s" hook near the clip and then took regular pliers and grabbed the top of the "s" hook and twisted it. Now ALL my clips hang sideways instead of facing forward.

In the first pie tin tray I put all my flock

2nd tray is my stickles/glitter glue

and the top 3rd tray has the shoe tree handle(I didn't like it on there) and the lil wrench thingy that came with it to.
My cubes are stacked 3 high and I'm tall so I can see in the 2nd tray. I LOVE this organization.......
OH GOOD GRIEF!!!!! where's my wired ribbon???aarrgh...its still in the drawer...OK! uhm....the flock and stickles will go back to the drawer and my wired ribbon and ribbon scissors will go in the trays. Problem solved...Heres another dilemma... I'm having a very hard time deciding??? Do I add my Twine or not?? as you can see the "clip it up" isn't full I have plenty of room.....I would wind the twine on the same type bobbin as the ribbon.....WHAT SHALL I DO??? and what do I do with the twine with 2 colors ex. blue/yellow..do I put it with the blue ribbon or the yellow or clip it up on top...???
