Scarfs

Here's some more scarfs I've done. The first one is a regular scarf (folded in 1/2) I used the Boa "Dark Mink" flat e-wrapped 16 pegs used about 3/4 of a skein. The other one is a Ruffle Scarf I used the Red Heart Boutique Sashay "Disco" I used the whole skein.
I can't believe in 5 months it'll be Christmas.....Where has the time gone????? I still have a bunch of scarves to make.....

Meet the BOOT family....

Papa Boot stands at 8" tall, Mama Boot stands at 6" tall and Baby Boot stands at 4" tall.
I got the file from SVGCUTS "Happy Trails". I embossed the top of the boot with folder "bubbles".
I have this project in mind and I needed a boot. Papa boot was way to big, so I shrunk the file 50% and made Baby boot....yes, its cute...but what a disaster!!! the pieces didn't really fit together correctly and it was almost impossible to glue everything together. It was way to small (I'll never make a little one again). Then came Mama boot I shrunk the file to 75% and its PERFECT!!! for what I want it for.....stay tuned for that.....
Papa, Mama and Baby...What does this remind you of??? HA HA HA...The 3 Bears......HA HA HA
Oh, I used Recollections cardstock and ZIP DRY paper glue. A fast drying glue is needed

Boa scarf

This is a regular scarf using the Boa yarn -color: Raven. I used a single strand, I think I used 18 pegs and used the flat e-wrap. I originally made this for my 10 yr old nephew (Christmas) but kinda got carried away and made it too long...LOL...I used 3/4 of a skein but realized it was too long so the 1st one will go to my oldest son and then I made another one a little shorter using the rest of the first skein and about 1/4 of another. The 1st scarf is about 8"wide and 36"long and the 2nd scarf is 8"wide and 32"long. it's hard to measure cause it's so stretchy and SUPER SOFT!!!

For a regular scarf I like the single strand, this Boa yarn is a #5 which is considered bulky so it'll be plenty warm.

Hooded Scarf

I'm LOVE'N that Boa yarn. Heres a Royal Blue hooded scarf. Just like the pink one. I used 2 skeins as one and flat e-wrapped 22 pegs. Then folded in half and stitched down 10" for the hood.

OK, I'm working on a boa scarf single strand...it's just going to be a scarf, so I'll let you know how the single strand comes out.
